Contact The Artist

My life informs my art.  I have been fully engaged in art production most of my life.  I began painting and exhibiting my art at a very young age. I can't imagine my life without art; it is a part of me and influences the way I perceive the world.    There are so many modes of human expression that I find it both challenging and enriching to study the history of art from all cultures.  This multi-cultural interest appears in my paintings and mixed media works.  I want to create new meanings from the everyday milieu, and capture the viewer's imagination.

I find objects interesting in the way that they can relay information about the culture in which they were produced.  The objects that we cherish and those we cast off are visually appealing to me.  My work is rich in content that relates to the world of people, places and things.  This synthesis of a multifaceted visual world is a reflection of my lifetime of travel from childhood to the present day.

My artwork is continually evolving and growing to reflect my lifelong passion for visual art and its power to enrich the human experience.
