Drawing, Oil or Acrylic Painting Classes

Beginning:

Ages teens to adults.

This is a solid foundation course covering drawing, composition, color, brushes, palette, and mediums. I focus on the elements and principals of art, with a strong emphasis on understanding drawing, value and color.

Advanced:

College to Adults:

Students with experience in painting and drawing will find my classes engaging, stimulating and enjoyable. Take your skills and knowledge to the next level with personalized attention and individualized focus on your specific interest.

Drawing for All:

Covering the basics of drawing from still-life and study of shape, line, mass, form and composition to develop an understanding of simplifying complex forms. Perspective and developing drawings for paintings.

Workshops

I have presented workshops in my studio, the Fine Line Creative Art Center, University of Illinois, Champagne/Urbana, Community Unit School District 300, Lake Zurich High School, the Chicago Cultural Center for the Vet Art Project, and many art groups and schools. In depth and well researched I strive to provide a valuable, and engaging workshop experience.

Professional Seminar Speaker

I am an experienced public speaker and will provide professional presentations and lectures for schools, art groups and organizations on topics relating to art, art education, and my original art work.
